| March for Babies 2008 --- 3rd year for Kenyon's Crew |
Today our families walked for the March of
Dimes/March for Babies honoring our very active 2
year old son/grandson. Our team collected over
$1700.00. Joining us this year was his new baby
sister Carolina, born Feb 11th, who now weighs
close to 12lbs. She is doing very well. Kenyon is
still just under 20lbs! He is such a joy as he
continues to discover the world and learn new
things.
Kenyon was born April 4, 2006 and every April is
the walk. The first time we walked he was in the
NICU in Dayton. The walk has become very
meaningful for all of us. Thanks to all who
contributed this year.

| Update and Picture of Carolina |
If you would like to see a picture of Carolina
you can visit the ST. Ritas website at
www.stritas.org then click on the link baby
connection. You will need to enter Feb. 11 and
then find my name--it is under Kristina K. and
her picture should come up. As soon as I get my
camera working I will work on getting more
pictures on this website. We are all doing
well. She is a typical newborn with her days and
nights mixed up. She is great baby though---
sleeps and eats well. She had an ultrasound on
her hips because of being breech so long. This
sometimes causes problems with the hip joints.
The doctor saw nothing of concern so that was a
relief. She had a little eye infection soon
after we came home but that has pretty much
resolved itself. Kenyon loves his new baby
sister giving her kisses all the time. He shows
a little jealousy but that is to be expected.
He continues to wear his eye patch and has now
mastered ripping it off! He is more and more
verbal everyday. It is a handful with two but we
are enjoying it:) Thanks to everyone for your
prayers and generosity--kris, frank, kenyon, and
carolina

 My baby sister arrived today! |
Yes, Carolina Rose was born today--7lbs 3 oz and
19 1/2 inches. My mommy had to have a c-section
but she and my baby sister are doing well!! I
can't wait for them to come home. KENYON

 What day will my little sister arrive? |
We are still waiting on baby Carolina. My Mommy
is less than 4 weeks from her due date now - Yea!!
We have had a couple false alarms!
I am growing up and learning alot. I imitate
everything! I'm saying more and more words. I
love to dance and read books. I really like my
new slide/swing set. My Daddy took me to the eye
specialist recently and I now have to wear a
patch on my one eye for 2 hours/day. I will go
back to see the Dr. in 3 months. I might have to
have another surgery sometime.
Well, Maybe next time I post I will have a new
baby sister. KENYON
